This policy statement addresses the terms and conditions which governs Graduate Assistantships.

Reason for Policy

This policy will clarify how the Graduate Assistantships compensation payments would be handled since many of the GAs work was impacted by the COVID-19 disruption. These students could not continue to work on campus for safety reasons when the University moved classes and instructions to virtual formats.

Who Is Governed by this Policy

Graduate Students – must be enrolled in a graduate degree program.

Policy

As part of Adelphi University’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, at this time no change to the payments for GAs has been made, whether they can perform the work remotely or not. This decision will be reviewed periodically.

Procedures
