At Adelphi, we believe physical activity benefits should be available to everyone regardless of background, appearance, belief system or socioeconomic status.
Professors speak to you as a person instead of a number. They want to make sure you really understand the material. This is something I find to be rare and deeply appreciate as it ensures I have the knowledge to accomplish my goals.

Providing students with a strong understanding of the connections between the scientific bases of our discipline and its clinical practices is our mission. We strive to prepare the finest professional and ethical research-based clinicians who can assess and treat children and adults with communication disorders within our scope of practice and from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Adelphi’s 4+1 pathway is the perfect option for aspiring educators who want a clear, efficient and affordable path to certification. You will graduate with a BS in Physical Education after four years, then spend one additional year earning your MA in Health Education-this is one year less than if you were to earn each degree separately.
