Undergraduate Transfer Tuition Guarantee

Transfer students who meet the requirements for this program get a private education at a tuition rate comparable to that of a public institution. This reduced rate is guaranteed for up to four years.

Adelphi awards merit-based education scholarships to qualified accepted students based on many factors. Depending on family need, you may also be eligible for additional education focused grants, loans and the work-study program.

Scholarship Opportunities

The Ruth S. Ammon Scholarship fund supports students who have chosen life-changing careers that advance education, health and wellness in people of all ages, here in New York and around the world. This generous fund offers financial support for undergraduate and graduate students working toward a degree in any of the majors in the Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences.

Students in the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP) who receive a university-based academic scholarship as undergraduates will receive an academic scholarship for their graduate year.

This New York City Department of Education program reimburses tuition (57-67 credits including Child Development, Schools and Society, and Health Prep, and SPH561). In exchange, you must work double the number of years for NYC as you spent in school. For more information, visit teachnyc.net.

The New York City Department of Education offers the scholarship program Intensive Teacher Institute (ITI) in Bilingual/ESL and Special Education). You need school district support/Superintendent signature to apply. They are supporting preschool personnel as well. Contact ITI at 631.286.6551.
