Professor Celentano has been teaching at the Willumstad School of Business at Adelphi University for the past 13 years. He applies a lifetime of organizational leadership experience to bring the real world of business management to the classroom. He has been nominated for the Adelphi Teaching Excellence Award and he received the Mentor of The Year award from the nationally recognized Adelphi University Mentoring Program. He is regularly sought out by his student as a thesis advisor in the Adelphi Honors College.
Professor Celentano earned his MBA with distinction at Adelphi University. He is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt professional and he has been trained in Advanced Facilitation Skills. His leadership training includes certifications received from Harvard University, UNC- Chapel Hill, and the Center for Creative Leadership. Certifications include, Advanced Leadership, Corporate Leadership, Participative Management, Diversity in Education, The Emotional Classroom, Harassment and Discrimination Prevention, and Distance Education.
His research focuses on Positivity and Positive Leadership, Compassionate Leadership, Virtuous Leadership, Workplace Spirituality and Intellectual Humility.
