Recognizing and Preventing Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace
Help prevent harassment and bullying in any workplace setting. Gain the skills you need to implement effective prevention and intervention strategies wherever and whenever bullying or sexual harassment is taking place.
Gain a clear understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities of both employers and employees, including legislation related to Title VII and Title IV, as well as federal civil rights and occupational and safety mandates. You will come away with training strategies for professional development and best practices for effective anti-harassment and anti-bullying workplace policies. Play a key role in creating an equitable and safe work environment for those who are marginalized based on gender identity, gender expression and/or sexual orientation.
Can be taken individually or as part of the LGBTQA+ Studies Certificate Program.
