In three 2-hour workshops, you will gain an overview of the LGBTQA+ community and the language used to understand gender identity and sexual orientation.

You’ll learn about the legal, political, cultural and social justice issues that impact these communities, as well as the evolution and distinctiveness of various gender identities. You’ll come away with a deeper understanding of LGBTQA+ responses to social injustice and oppression, and learn valuable allyship skills for your workplace or community.

Can be taken individually or as part of the LGBTQA+ Studies Certificate Program.
