Undergraduate International Studies Tracks
As a student in our international studies program, you’ll discover how business, politics and science intertwine across political and cultural boundaries, choosing between two tracks, business or political science. International studies majors can also enter the Scholar Teacher Education Program.
Enhanced by Adelphi’s proximity to New York City, the business track of international studies provides both intellectual and practical opportunities to our majors. In your senior year, you will conduct either an original interdisciplinary research project or an internship that will allow you to apply the interdisciplinary knowledge you’ve gained in the classroom.
Immerse yourself in the political and social aspects of the region you choose to study by taking the political science track. Through our intensive foreign-language component you will gain more in-depth knowledge of the region and culture you’re studying while preparing for real-world opportunities. The concentration is completed with a senior capstone, where you will choose to do an internship or perform original interdisciplinary research.
All About Global Studies
I had the opportunity to study abroad in Finland through Adelphi’s Finnish Innovation in Politics and Business program. I came back with an enriched understanding of the political and economic practices of this innovative country.
