Minor Option
Graphic Design Minor
The graphic design minor will introduce students to both traditional studio skills and cutting edge digital image making, providing them with the necessary foundation for contemporary visual communication.

The design space features individual workstations for students to work on advertising, branding, and package design projects.

Exceptional Hands-On Learning
At Adelphi, we believe strongly in the power of hands-on learning and the value it adds to our students’ future careers. In the graphic design concentration, you’ll complete a semester-long internship that suits your unique strengths, interests and career goals, whether it’s UX/UI, design for social media, editorial design, motion design or visual identity. Where you intern is also up to you. Leverage our connections to leading New York City-based agencies, or intern on campus at the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center, the Office of University Communications and Marketing, or the LGBTQ+ and Allies Committee. You’ll gain firsthand insight into the daily workings of design studios and create portfolio pieces you can use after graduation.
