Lock in your housing rate. Enjoy being part of campus life.

Living on campus is about more than convenience—it’s about feeling connected to, supported by and being part of a vibrant campus community. Adelphi’s Two-Year Academic Housing Agreement allows eligible students to live on campus for two consecutive academic years with the added benefit of locking in their housing rate for the second year.

Adelphi’s Two-Year Academic Housing Agreement is being piloted for Fall 2026–Spring 2027 through Fall 2027–Spring 2028.

This new option helps students and families plan ahead with confidence while supporting a full, well-rounded Adelphi experience. It reflects Adelphi’s commitment to providing a connected, supportive on-campus environment where students can thrive—especially as off-campus housing costs continue to rise.

By committing to two years of on-campus living beginning in Fall 2026, students can:

  • Budget more confidently
  • Stay fully engaged in campus life
  • Build meaningful bonds with their Adelphi family
  • Enjoy the safety, convenience and support of living on campus

Planning Beyond the Two-Year Agreement

We hope you’ll choose Adelphi as your home throughout your college journey.

The Two-Year Academic Housing Agreement is being offered as a pilot beginning in Fall 2026. Based on participation and demand, we anticipate offering options for students who wish to continue living on campus after completing the two-year agreement.

Students who participate in the pilot can expect one of the following continuation options, to be announced in March 2027:

  1. An option to renew for an additional two-year housing agreement, at a modest and predictable increase over the initial two-year rate
  2. An option to continue on campus for one additional academic year, also at a modest increase

In either case, students who choose to remain on campus after the pilot period can expect housing rates to increase gradually and predictably, in line with standard annual adjustments. Adelphi is committed to transparency and fairness in housing costs and to supporting students and families as they plan their full academic experience.
