Foundations of System Therapy
In this seminar we will explore a systemic therapy model that views the family as an emotional unit which influences and is influenced by the individuals within it.
No one exists in a relational vacuum; everyone shapes and is shaped by their family, both past and present. We will examine couple patterns and dynamics as well as the current impact of each partner’s family-of-origin. Based on this information a conceptual diagnosis of a couple as well as a treatment plan can be developed.
Part of the 2022-2023 Postgraduate Program in Couple Therapy Seminar Series.
