The field of criminal justice is now broader than just law enforcement; individuals in business, education, politics, psychology, education, communications, arts and international affairs may confront issues related to crime. A minor in criminal justice is intended for students in these majors who are interested in gaining critical knowledge and basic understanding of these problems without taking the full major.
