Honors Residential Community

The Honors College Residential Community provides Honors College students with a supportive and engaging living environment designed to complement their rigorous academic experience. Living in this community gives you direct access to:
- On-floor classrooms
- Study lounges
- 24-hour computer lab
- Music practice room
- Seminar rooms
- Honors College faculty
- Special RA programs and connections
To reserve your spot in the Honors Residential Community, indicate your interest on your housing agreement, pay your deposit by the May 1 priority deadline, and submit the Residential Communities Application. Students who are accepted will be notified before Online Room Selection begins.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Honors Residential Community
The rooms in this community are all two- or three-person rooms, referred to as Double or Triple Rooms in Honors. For the current costs to live on campus, please view the current housing costs for residence halls. (There is no added cost to live in the Honors Residential Community.) For housing accommodations specific to a documented need, please contact the Student Access Office.
To apply for the Honors College Suites, students must check off the Honors College Suites box located under the Special Housing Request section on the Residence Hall Application and pay the standard $300 housing deposit. Then you can submit the Residential Communities Application to alert the Assistant Director who oversees Earle Hall.
Students must be an incoming first-year student accepted in the Adelphi University Honors College to qualify.
Honors College Suites
The Honors College section of Earle Hall is set up with suites that can accommodate approximately 30 Honors College students. Each suite has a semi-private bath and a common living area. Honors College classrooms, study lounges, and computer rooms are also located in Earle Hall.
The honors suites are a small residential area for students in the honors college. Each suite features two double or triple bedrooms attached to a lounge and a shared bathroom. Students must be accepted into the Honors College program to be eligible to live in these suites. For more information regarding the honors program please contact the Honors College Dean.
