National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week is an annual celebration recognizing the vital contributions of nurse practitioners to healthcare and raising awareness about their role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
It is observed from November 8th through November 14th, 2026.
With a workforce of more than 461,000 licensed NPs across the United States, these highly educated, advanced practice providers can be found in clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centers, nursing homes and private practices.
