Empowering middle and high school students through academic enrichment, mentoring and college readiness programs.
Adelphi University’s NYS Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) provides services to meet the academic, social, emotional, and career needs of struggling students by providing meaningful and enjoyable programming.
This programming engages students more fully in their education so they can graduate from high school with post-secondary plans.
LPP program participants in hands-on enrichment activities designed to encourage creativity, collaboration and self-expression.

Who the Program Serves
The NYS Liberty Partnerships Program serves students who:
- are enrolled in grades 6–12
- are New York State residents (or permanent residents)
- attend eligible partner school districts
- could benefit from academic, social, emotional or career support services
Affiliated School Districts
The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) at Adelphi University serves students in partner school districts on Long Island, New York. Students must attend one of the following districts to participate:
- Freeport (Freeport High School and John W. Dodd Middle School)
- Westbury (Westbury Middle School and Westbury High School)
- Malverne (Howard T. Herber Middle School and Malverne Senior High School)
- Hempstead (ABGS Middle School and Hempstead High School)

The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) is a New York State Education Department initiative delivered through partner colleges and universities across the state. Adelphi University’s LPP serves students through designated partner school districts on Long Island.
Students must attend one of the partner districts to participate in Adelphi’s program.
