Scholarships and Grants from Other Organizations
Find scholarships and grants from outside organizations.
In addition to the sources of gift aid from Adelphi, New York State and the federal government, you may also be eligible for a private scholarship or grant from an outside organization or agency.
Some sources to explore are employers, unions, professional organizations and community and special interest groups. Check with your high school counselor, public library and Chamber of Commerce for additional information.
In addition, outside scholarship/grant opportunities that are received by the Office of Student Financial Services are available upon in-person request. Outside scholarship/grant opportunities may also be available by contacting the Learning Center and/or your academic department.
The key to finding these scholarships is research and persistence. Many extensive scholarship search services are available free online. Below is just a sample of sites where you can start your search.
