The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is the federal law that protects the privacy of students’ education records. This law prohibits Financial Aid, Registrar, Fiscal Services, and many other Adelphi University departments from releasing any specific student education information without the student’s written permission. By submitting this form, you allow the Office of Prestigious Awards and Fellowships at Adelphi to share application materials when necessary, understanding that these materials will be kept confidential from the public. By submitting the form, you also agree to work with the Office of Prestigious Awards and Fellowships to publish success stories in press releases for Adelphi University social media, Adelphi Communications, and possibly local news outlets.
