Recognized as one of the top dance programs in New York, we treat dance as both an art form and an area of academic inquiry, and emphasize individual exploration. Through studio work, performance, creation, study and even internships, you’ll take your dance skills to the next level and develop your unique artistic voice.
Students in our program also benefit from direct access to the dance world in nearby New York City, just a short distance away from our main campus in Garden City. You’ll have many opportunities to see performances by world-famous companies, attend workshops, earn internships and build professional connections that will help you launch your career.
Adelphi’s dance program is unique—I tailored my experience to my interests while gaining a strong foundation in concert dance. Professors recommended dance intensives, city performances and valuable internships.
