Understanding Your Opt-Out Programs
Adelphi offers programs designed to make your college experience smoother and help you succeed.
What You Need to Know
- Each program is independent, opting out of one doesn’t affect the others.
- You must opt out every semester (except health insurance, if successfully waived).
- Refunds and billing updates typically appear within 72 hours once all documentation is submitted and approved. Set your BankMobile preference to avoid delays.
- Deadlines apply, so be sure to act in time.
Opt-Out Programs
Essentials like course materials, dining plans, and health insurance are automatically included in your tuition and fees. However, if you decide any of these programs are not a good fit for you, you can opt out of any of them.
Panther eBundle Course Materials
Automatically provides your required textbooks (digital or physical) by the first day of class. If you opt out, you’re responsible for buying all materials yourself. Opt out by the final add/drop date through the Panther eBundle Customer Portal.
Dine + Connect Commuter Student Meal Plan
Commuter students are provided $250 Panther Dollars per semester, usable at all campus dining locations. This saves you sales tax and offers flexible, convenient dining. You can choose to opt out of this meal plan within the first two weeks of any semester.
Dewar Tuition Refund Plan
Tuition insurance protects your tuition investment in case of serious, unexpected health issues. Covering 80% of tuition and fees, it’s optional but automatically added to your bill unless you opt out.
Student Health Insurance
Comprehensive health coverage is automatically provided to all domestic students living in University residence halls and all international students, including Adelphi International (AUI) students.

BankMobile Refunds
Choose how you want to receive any refunds you may be due (financial aid, excess payments, etc.). Selecting BankMobile ensures you get your money quickly and securely.
To select your refund preference via BankMobile, log in to eCampus and select the BankMobile service. Follow the prompts to set or update your refund preference.
