Manhattan Center Event

Technology can bridge the gap when campus closes due to extreme weather or other emergencies.

Did you know that you can record a lecture or an event and post it on YouTube through your Adelphi email?

Or capture your lecture using a narrated PowerPoint?

Instructional technology is now available at the library! Webcams (video/audio recorders that plug into the USB drive of your computer) and flip cams (handheld, portable video recorders) can be borrowed at the library for up to a week.

Don’t forgot that we also have iPads and laptops (with built-in webcams) available for on-campus use.

Planning a training event, or just want to be sure the equipment is available when you need it? Equipment can be reserved here through our Technology Reservation form.

Also, remember that the Faculty Center for Professional Excellence is always available to help you integrate technology into your teaching practices! Check out some of their recent video tutorials:

It’s easy! But if you prefer, you can record your lecture or event on one of our flip cams, drop it off at the library, and let us update the video onto the library’s YouTube and send you back a link.
