We hope that you will stand with us in defense of science and scientific integrity.
Dear Adelphi Faculty: Please sign up to help in the planning and coordination of an Adelphi contingent to the NYC March for Science and student chaperoneship.
This year, on Earth Day, scientists around the globe will gather in Washington, DC, New York City and countless other cities to bring attention to the societal good served by science.
We the members of the Senate Committee for Scholarship will be among them. The Faculty Senate and President Riordan supports the non-partisan principles and goals of the March as consistent with Adelphi’s values and mission for academic excellence, and we hope that you will stand with us in defense of science and scientific integrity.
We hope that you will also be willing to meet up with students, faculty and staff at pre-arranged meeting points, and help escort students to and from the March and on its route. Please take a few seconds to register below. The goal is to convince as many Adelphi students as possible to attend, as a community to encourage political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.
