Adelphi Libraries would like to extend congratulations to the winners of Adelphi’s first hackathon, Jay Punjwani, Harmit Minhas, Sarthak Arora, and Prasanth Venigalla! At the event, organized by the library, this outstanding team of freshmen came up with the winning idea and went home wearing first prize Moto 360 smart watches. Their tool, Library+, will soon be integrated into Adelphi’s AU2Go mobile app. Second place was awarded to Philip Cohn-Cort and Shannen Murphy for LibraQuest. The hackathon occurred March 13-14 and attracted an outstanding group of contestants fueled by pizza, soda, and collective creative energy.
