On Saturday, April 27, bring in your unused, unwanted or expired prescription and non-prescription medications to Adelphi for safe disposal—no questions asked—as part of National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Adelphi’s Student Counseling Center is collaborating with the Department of Public Safety to collect medications, including liquids, solids, pills, etc. Disposal will be handled by the Nassau County Police Department and the DEA. The drop-off area will be in the University Center lobby from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
