Academic Advising with Stellic
Adelphi’s advising platform simplifies academic advising, degree audits and course registration planning—making it easier for students to stay on track to graduate.
Students, advisors, and faculty can access Academic Advising anytime via eCampus by searching for “advising” in the Services section. It replaces two former systems —EAB Navigate and Degree Audit—providing a single, unified experience for the Adelphi community.
Student Academic Advising Experience
Students can:
- Schedule advising appointments and view notes from your advisors.
- Track progress toward your degree and plan courses all the way to graduation.
- Add notes to planned courses for advisors to review and comment on.
- Communicate directly with advisors and receive guidance throughout your academic journey.
- See whether you’re on track to graduate, helping you anticipate challenges and make informed decisions.
- See not only how past courses apply to your degree but also how future courses will help to complete your program.
Advisor and Faculty Experience
Academic advisors and faculty can:
- Collaborate in real time with students on academic planning.
- Post notes about students or summarize advising meetings.
- Share availability for appointments, integrated with Google Calendar.
- Monitor student progress and assist proactively, using detailed data to guide students toward graduation.
Frequently Asked Questions for Faculty and Advisors

- If you cannot access the login page or sign in, contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@adelphi.edu or 516.877.3340.
- If you can log in but don’t see your assigned students, or you notice data issues (missing courses, incorrect milestones, wrong student information), email the IT Help Desk.

From the “Appointments” tab, select “Connect Calendar” and follow the prompts to link your Adelphi Google Calendar. Once connected, Stellic can check for conflicts and add new appointments automatically.
In the “Appointments” tab, select “Create Time Block” to:
- Choose days/times you’re available
- Set appointment duration
- Select eligible student groups
- Activate your time block so students can book
After setting your availability, choose a student, pick a date/time, add a title/topic and description, then click “Schedule”. The student will receive a notification and a calendar invite.
When adding a note to a student’s profile, you can categorize it to make tracking and triaging effective. Common note types include:
- General Notes – Advising or meeting documentation.
- Concerns – Used to flag potential issues or risks.
- Kudos – Positive recognition of student progress or achievements.
- Referrals – Directing a student to another office or resource.
Open the “Notes” tab in a student profile to see all notes.
All reviews that have been requested for you to complete as an instructor will populate in the “Reviews” tab.
Once the Office of Academic Services and Retention initiates a request, you’ll receive both an in-app and email notification. You can then complete and submit the review through the “Reviews” tab.
Advisors and staff can send messages to students individually or in bulk. Messages appear in the student’s notification center and may also be delivered by email or text, depending on the student’s preferences.
Only users with the appropriate permissions (such as advisors) can send messages to students. Permissions are managed by Adelphi University.
Learn more about how Messaging works
By default, all messages appear in a student’s in-app notifications.
If the student has enabled additional preferences, the same message may also be sent by email or text, depending on the student’s notification preferences. Students will need to consent to text messaging when they first receive a text message in-app.
Use the top-right search bar to search across all programs, courses, and students, or use the “Students” tab to filter by student-specific criteria like name, username, program or GPA.
To search for multiple students at once, switch the student search mode from “Keywords” to “Student Usernames”, then paste a list of usernames separated by commas, spaces, or semicolons. Stellic can only process primary usernames, not secondary IDs or student names.
After filtering your list, click “Actions” then “Generate Report” to export results as a CSV.
