Step into the future with Adelphi’s immersive Computer Science and Coding course, now with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coder, you’ll explore how AI and modern technologies are transforming the world—and develop the skills to drive that change.
Through hands-on projects, collaborative problem-solving, and real-world applications, you’ll gain experience in programming, AI, and machine learning while building critical thinking, design, and analytical skills. These abilities are essential for high-growth careers in software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and beyond.

What You’ll Learn
By the end of the course, you will:
- Learn foundational computer science concepts—data types, algorithms, conditionals, and loops—using Python, then advance into AI and machine learning tools
- Build real projects, from designing AI models and exploring computer vision to analyzing real-world data
- Work with AI tools and platforms, gaining experience in prompt engineering, model evaluation, and ethical AI practice
- Collaborate across disciplines to see how coding and AI apply in health, art, sustainability, media, and more
- Present your work in a capstone showcase that can be included in a college or internship portfolio
Meet Your Professor
 
							Michael Autorino is a software engineer who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Adelphi University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Hofstra University. Michael has previously worked on projects in Software and Game Development. Their current interests are in Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Information Technology. Michael is currently interested in the applications of Artificial Intelligence and is working on making the aspects of Artificial Intelligence more accessible to large audiences.
