This credit-bearing program is scheduled to take place from July 12-August 1, 2026 on Adelphi’s Garden City Campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 1:00 p.m.-4:20 p.m.

Whether you’re just getting started or already coding, you’ll learn how cutting-edge technologies are shaping the world, and build the skills to lead that change. Students in this course will gain critical thinking, problem solving, and design skills relevant to high-growth, high-pay jobs in software engineering, AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and beyond. Skills in AI aren’t just nice to have—they’re fast becoming essential across nearly every major and
industry.
In this course you will:
- Learn foundational CS concepts (data types, algorithms, conditionals, loops) using Python, and move into modern tools for AI and machine learning.
- Build real projects: Design AI models, explore computer vision, or analyze real data to address real-world problems.
- Work with AI tools & platforms, and gain experience in prompt engineering, model evaluation, and ethical AI practice.
- Collaborate across disciplines: see how coding and AI apply in health, art, sustainability, media, etc.
- Present your work in a capstone showcase that can be modified for a college or internship portfolio.
