Medical Care and Services
Adelphi Health Services provides accessible on-campus medical care for students, including illness visits, preventive care, health guidance and select clinical services.
Services Available at No Additional Cost
The following services are available at no additional cost:
- Mental health counseling through the Student Counseling Center
- Over-the-counter medications
- Select wellness resources
- Basic medical supplies
- Health education and support
Eligible medical visits and clinical services may be billed through your health insurance plan.
Before Your Visit to Health Services
To help make your visit as smooth as possible, bring:
- Health insurance card
- Adelphi Student ID
- Any required medical documentation

Additional Health Resources
Adelphi Health Services bills insurance for certain medical services, just as many doctors' offices and urgent care centers do. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for applicable copays or other out-of-pocket costs. Mental health counseling and many wellness resources are available without direct insurance billing. If you have questions about insurance coverage, billing or potential out-of-pocket costs, contact Health Services before your visit.
