Early Learning Center Opportunities
Adelphi students have the opportunity for hands-on experience at our Alice Brown Early Learning Center's state-of-the-art facility.
Student Observation

Adelphi undergraduate and graduate students may observe children 18 months through 5 years in action at the Alice Brown Early Learning Center (ELC) as required through course work.
Located on the south side of the Garden City campus near the practice fields, the program is open Monday through Friday. Students may observe from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Employment
The ELC employs undergraduate students—through work-study and campus employment—and graduate assistants who work directly with children under the guidance and mentorship of professional staff.
Volunteer
Our Early Learning Center administrators collaborate with campus clubs and organizations to offer children extra-curricular activities.
