Your Transfer Credit Evaluation is an important tool to help you plan your academic journey at Adelphi.

It shows how your credits from previous institutions apply to your degree, highlights what requirements you’ve completed, and helps you plan what’s next to stay on track for graduation.

Access Your Evaluation

Your Transfer Credit Evaluation is available in your application status portal. You’ll receive an email once it’s added, which is usually a few days after acceptance.

Check in Your Transfer Credit Evaluation

Checking your evaluation ensures your academic plan is accurate, highlights any missing or mismatched credits, and helps you address issues before registering for classes. It’s your chance to make sure everything is correct.

Check that all prior schools, AP scores, and dual-enrollment credits are included. If a school or credit is missing, submit an official transcript through your application portal or contact your Admissions Counselor for assistance.

See how many credits have been applied toward your Adelphi degree. Transfer limits include up to:

  • 30 credits from high school
  • 64 from a two-year institution
  • 90 total credits

Your evaluation shows how your credits apply to Adelphi’s PATH: General Education requirements and your major. Check which requirements are fulfilled and which are still needed.

Some may be waived based on prior coursework or a completed degree.

If you are an accepted Nursing student, you will also see a list of Nursing prerequisite courses you have successfully transferred in with a Grade of C+ or higher next to your PATH Curriculum Summary.

Review how each course transferred—either as a direct Adelphi equivalent or as an elective.

  • Credit is typically awarded for grades of C- or higher in subjects offered at Adelphi.
  • Seminar and orientation courses usually do not transfer, though they may be waived for students who transfer 30 or more college credits earned after high school.

Courses still in progress appear as 0 credits with a grade of IP until updated official transcripts are received.

These courses may appear as potential PATH: General Education fulfillment, but will not show as completed in your PATH Curriculum Summary or degree plan until finalized.

Next Steps

  1. Resolve Missing or Mismatched Credits: If something appears to be missing, submit any outstanding official transcripts and review Adelphi’s Transfer Credit Policy. If you believe a course should transfer differently, you may submit a syllabus for review.
  2. Connect With Your Academic Advisor: Review your Transfer Credit Evaluation with your academic advisor to plan your remaining PATH and major requirements. Your ePlanner will update once all official transcripts are received.
  3. Register With Confidence: Your course registration is easier with your Transfer Credit Evaluation. Use it to choose courses that align with your remaining requirements and keep you on track for graduation.
