Membership for almost all of these societies is dependent upon predetermined academic criteria. In some cases, additional community service or interest-related criteria apply.

Sigma Eta—a chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda is the national honor society for nontraditional undergraduate students at Adelphi. Sigma Eta inducted the first 12 students into the chapter in 2014.
