Higher education institutions nationwide are evaluating physical footprints to better align with where and how modern students choose to learn.
Our overall institutional health and strategic momentum are exactly what allow us to make these kinds of forward-looking decisions. As we look at Adelphi’s long-term strategy of smart growth, we are consolidating our regional footprint so we can fully invest our resources into high-demand, high-impact locations. Shifting our focus to the Manhattan Center allows us to maximize that location’s momentum and new corporate partnerships we are building there, ensuring we deliver the absolute best, most dynamic experience for our students.
Not at all. As your advisors have explained, the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 academic year is proceeding exactly as planned. Your classes, faculty, schedules and field placements at the Hudson Valley Center remain completely unchanged for the 2026-2027 academic year.
We understand that commuting to Manhattan isn’t feasible for everyone. Your advisor provided you with options, including completing your degree through Adelphi’s fully online program or taking classes at the Manhattan Center or the Garden City campus.
