For the fifth consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has ranked Adelphi University a Best College among national universities. The University was also included in several of its other prominent 2023 rankings, including Best Value Schools, Best First-Year Experiences, A+ Colleges for B Students and Top Performers on Social Mobility.
For the first time this year, Adelphi was also featured in the Campus Ethnic Diversity ranking, which U.S. News developed to help students identify colleges where they are most likely to encounter undergraduates from racial or ethnic groups different from their own. The data is drawn from each institution’s Fall 2021 total undergraduate student body.
U.S. News also included Adelphi in its 2023 rankings for Best Graduate Schools and Best Undergraduate Programs. The following Adelphi programs have been ranked in the top 200 among 2,000 programs in the United States: Best Undergraduate Nursing Program, Best Nursing Master’s Program, Best Graduate Social Work Program and Best Graduate School for Speech-Language Pathology.

In other rankings news, Adelphi is one of 27 New York institutions recognized as a 2022–2023 Career Development College of Distinction. This national designation recognizes Adelphi’s superior ability to create strategic career plans and equip our students with the skills necessary to succeed after they graduate. The outlet also awarded the University an Equity and Inclusion recognition for its efforts to enroll and support a diverse student body through high-impact practices that are accessible to all.
