Wendy Badala

As the director of international services, Wendy Badala, MA ’20, PDSO, RO, serves as the primary designated school official responsible for overseeing regulations for international students and scholars at all university campus locations. In her role to support campus internationalization, Wendy provides Adelphi students, scholars, and faculty with regulatory assistance as well as guidance regarding individual academic opportunities, cultural enrichment, and professional and leadership development. Wendy has served in various international support capacities at Adelphi since 2007 and has expansive education and experience in immigration advisement.

Anastasia Fesenko

Anastasia is our senior member of the International Services team. Originally from Russia, Anastasia has been studying in the United States since middle school. Living with her family in Brooklyn, she is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies here at Adelphi University and plans to get her Master’s degree in the states as well. Anastasia is currently responsible for all employment and social security paperwork for all international students. She is a dedicated part of the staff, so wonderful to be around, passionate about sports and loves to help others.

Miki Fu

Miki is a graduate student in the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration Management, with a concentration in marketing. She has been working in the Office of International Services since August 2018, and has provided invaluable services to both the office and the international student community as a recognized student leader. An international student from China, fashion and skin care are her passion, and her hope is to help people express themselves by dressing. Miki is also a fan of nature and animals. Miki is a member of the Graduate Student Council. Her previous experience on campus included a graduate assistant position in the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.

Nicole Jiang

Nicole, an avid dancer since she was 6 and a big fan of the Royal family dance crew, is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Business Administration Management with a specialization of Finance. She works for International Services assisting students with questions and solving problems, and also for the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business as a graduate assistant. She has previously worked as administrative secretary in Germany prior to coming to the United States. Nicole decided to become an Adelphi Panther around a year and a half ago in an effort to gain more knowledge and experience in business. One of her favorite things to do is exploring the city with her friends, swimming, badminton, and bouldering.

Angelina Kolobukhova

Angelina Kolobukhova, an international student from Belarus majoring in neuroscience and music as well as part of the Honors College program, has been working at International Services since January 2020. She is passionate about singing and has travelled around Europe for international competitions. Angelina has wanted to come to the United States ever since visiting it at 11 years old, and her brother is also graduating from Adelphi with a BS in Information Systems. Angelina loves to travel and hopes to conduct research related to music cognition in the future.

Huu Lam Nguyen

Huu Lam, a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree of Science in Business Analytics, is the newest member of the International Services family. Beginning his position overseeing the data and analytics for the office in February 2020, it is a question of how we managed without him. An international student from Vietnam, data science and automation are his passion. His future plan is to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Data Science and create a program that can be applied to business, especially in Finance and Healthcare services.

Hello Adelphi Community, Born and bred in India, secured my undergraduate degree in business from University of Delhi, traveled the world, met some exclusive personalities, tried some exclusive food until I became a part of Adelphi community, who gave me a home away from home. I am currently taking my second masters degree after completing my MBA in Marketing at Adelphi University. I represent the Office of International Services and have held multiple positions on campus at different capacities.
