In response to recent events, Interim President Christ Storm and his family will personally match all gifts to the Student Emergency Support Fund, up to $14,000, now through GivingTuesday. This fund provides direct financial assistance to students experiencing unforeseen financial hardship that could interrupt their education. Every dollar raised will be doubled to strengthen this safety net and to help students like those impacted by the delays in the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Hurricane Melissa meet their basic needs and stay on track to graduate.
Dear Students, Faculty and Staff, Nearly 400 Adelphi students currently rely on federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to meet their basic food needs.
