Stage to Screen: Stories That Teach Film Festival Screening
Event Actions
A hybrid film festival celebrating the voices of artists and filmmakers who educate through their work and champion diverse, inclusive, and equitable practices.
This film festival celebrates the powerful intersection of storytelling, education, and social impact. Showcasing the work of filmmakers, artists, and creatives who use their voices to inform, inspire, and ignite dialogue, the festival honors films that function as tools for learning, whether created by professional educators or by storytellers whose work naturally educates audiences through lived experience, cultural perspective, and emotional truth. Highlighting alumni, faculty, staff, and students at Adelphi as well as filmmakers from all over the world.
It invites participants to engage with film not only as entertainment but as a catalyst for conversation, reflection and change.
Whether you are a classroom teacher, teaching artist, independent filmmaker, or storyteller driven by purpose, this festival welcomes your film submissions and your presence as an engaged audience member.
If not affiliated with Adelphi or a filmmaker selected for the festival, there will be a small registration fee.
