The First Year Mentoring Experience connects incoming students with caring faculty and staff mentors who are committed to your academic success, personal growth and sense of belonging.

Incoming residential students will be welcomed to the residence halls prior to Welcome Weekend and the start of classes.

During our Virtual Campus Tour Experience, you’ll have the opportunity to chat and ask questions in real time, just as you would in person! 

New student orientation is a required, three-day, on-campus experience designed for new first-year and transfer students starting a new academic year in the fall.

This 6-week intensive workshop will enable an in-depth exploration of the neuropathological and psychosocial attributes of the full array of dementing disorders; the diagnostic evaluation components and the life-changing impacts of progressive symptoms upon patients and their families will be covered.
