This workshop helps participants recognize implicit biases and micro‐aggressive behavior that may exist in themselves and others, particularly as it relates to race, religion, gender and gender identity, class, ethnicity and people with disabilities.

In the current era of integration between the criminal legal system and immigration enforcement, the school-to-deportation pipeline describes how school discipline practices can funnel immigrant students, particularly those from Latinx and other marginalized communities, into the immigration system.
