Summer Orientation is a required, three-day, on-campus experience designed for new first-year and transfer students starting a new academic year in the fall.
During Summer Orientation, you’ll:
- Participate in academic workshops and get to know your advising team
- Learn about campus resources that you’ll need and want—like where to eat, study and how to find help when you need it
- Make friends (some for life!) with fellow incoming students
- Participate in Adelphi traditions and become part of our community
- New resident students will move in at the start of orientation; commuter students will return to campus each day
A full schedule, registration details, move-in information, and event descriptions will be released in late spring.

Whether you will commute or live on campus, Orientation Weekend includes a mix of required training and workshops as well as fun activities, meet-and-greets, campus exploration, and more. The cost of Orientation Weekend is built into your first-year tuition and is non-refundable.
This event is part of Orientation Weekend.
