Speaker

Gila Ofer, PhD

Gila Ofer, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, training psychoanalyst and group analyst working in private pratice in Tel-Aviv working with individuals, groups and supervisions. Dr. Ofer has a BA in English and French literature, M.A and PhD in clinical psychology. ​A co-founder and past President of Tel-Aviv Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TAICP) and a founding member of the Israeli Institute of Group Analysis (IIGA). Lecturer and supervisor in the Program of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Tel-Aviv University and is on the faculty of TAICP, and IIGA. She is also convening training in group analysis in Istanbul and in Bucharest. Dr. Ofer is past chair of the group analytic section of the European Federation of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (EFPP), coordinator of Eastern European countries EFPP, and the editor of the EFPP Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Review.  She is also the editor of the foreign languages book review in the IJGP.  Dr. Ofer has published her work in leading international journals and has presented her work and taught in Israel, Europe and the USA. She is the editor of the book “A Bridge over Troubled Water: Conflicts and Reconciliation in Groups and Society” published 2017.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are issued for cancellations made up to 7 working days before the event. Cancellations of less than 7 days for any reason, or no-shows are not refunded. Credit towards a future event/workshop are issued for cancellations less than 7 days and up to 24 hours before the event. No credit is issued for cancellations less than 24 hours before the events or no-shows.
