Topics include discussion of initial session approaches, the importance of diagnostic understanding of the couple as a unit and the individuals that make up the couple., the use of dreams and phantasy material, the application of cognitive approaches, how and when to decide when to work with the couple and when to focus on the individuals that comprise the couple. as well as dealing with our own comfort in using our experience in session.
