Unofficial Actors in the Public Policy Process
Event Actions
Join Dr. Binda Godlove Aka for an engaging look at the role of unofficial actors—including advocacy groups, the media, and private citizens—in shaping public policy.
This session explores how these voices use freedom of expression to influence decision-making, drawing on real-world case studies and examples of where those freedoms meet their limits.
This event is part of Adelphi University’s Freedom of Expression Week Symposium, hosted by the Division of Student Affairs and Office of Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Belonging.
