Dear Adelphi University Community,
The Board of Trustees has begun the process to identify and select Adelphi University’s next president. We are seeking a visionary leader who understands the mission of Adelphi and appreciates its distinguished legacy, is able to balance the needs of students, faculty and staff, while recognizing that change has come for the traditional model of higher education. We are committed to conducting a thorough, inclusive search that will identify the exceptional individual who will lead the University in the years ahead.
Search Process and Leadership
We have retained DSG Storbeck, a premier executive search firm with extensive experience in higher education leadership recruitment, to facilitate our deliberations throughout this important process.
The presidential search committee so far has been assembled to reflect the character, experience, value and opportunity that is Adelphi. As Chair of the Presidential Search Committee, I have asked several members of the Board of Trustees to join me in this effort. In addition, the committee will include administrative leadership, faculty and student representatives, and alumni. The composition of the committee will ensure that our search process will be thorough, inclusive and reflective of the many perspectives that make Adelphi University the vibrant academic community it is today.
I have asked Cara Terzulli, Associate Vice President and Deputy to the Provost, to serve as the primary point of contact for the committee and the campus community throughout this process.
