Transgender Awareness Week

Transgender Awareness Week

Join us November 16–20, 2020 for a series of events in recognition of Adelphi's first annual Transgender Awareness Week.

Transgender Awareness Week is an opportunity for community members to meet, listen to and learn from transgender people and professionals through virtual panels, film screenings, and more.

The events will focus on raising awareness of issues impacting the transgender community, providing useful tools for combatting transphobia in the classroom and workplace, reflecting on the experiences of transgender people of color, and remembering those who have been taken from us due to violence.
