Adelphi has made a substantial commitment to making the cost of attending more affordable through institutional scholarship and grant programs.

Grants are usually based on financial need and scholarships are generally based on merit, talent or other criteria. A separate application is not required to be considered for most Adelphi merit scholarships; new students are automatically considered upon acceptance to the University. University grants are awarded to students who have filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®), demonstrate need, and submit any required paperwork within the established priority deadlines.

We offer the following awards based on talent, merit and financial need. Except where noted, no additional application is required.

Institutional awards are applied to tuition and applicable fees. The University may reduce awards if combined with other aid (including VA benefits, external scholarships, or state grants) exceeds tuition and fee costs.

Most undergraduate awards require full-time enrollment, with potential waivers available through the Student Access Office for qualifying disabilities. Eligibility varies for non-degree, certificate, and off-campus programs.
