In honor of the School’s 70th anniversary, Adelphi will hold a special reunion for nursing graduates in June.

Started in 1943, Adelphi’s School of Nursing was the first nursing program on Long Island. Seventy years later, the School is thriving with more than 1,200 students. This fall, the University will break ground on its Nexus Building, which, among other things, will serve as the new home of the College of Nursing and Public Health.

In honor of the School’s 70th anniversary, Adelphi will hold a special reunion for nursing graduates on Saturday, June 8, 2013. The reunion will offer plenty of opportunities to network and reminisce. A School of Nursing 70th Anniversary Brunch is planned, and alumni will be able to learn about new developments from Dean Dean Patrick R. Coonan ’78, Ed.D., and current students. Details coming soon to the alumni events website.
