Alumna Jeri Woodhouse, M.S.W. ’89, has created a line of specialty foods, sold by Long Island retailers and at her flagship store.

Adelphi alumna Jeri Woodhouse, M.S.W. ’89, transitioned from social work to the world of food quite naturally, as she has dedicated herself to issues of hunger and sustainability for as long as she can remember. Her line of wine-country inspired products, A Taste of the North Fork, features local specialty foods and condiments, such as salad dressings, barbecue glazes, jams and jellies, vinegars and vinaigrettes, mustards, dessert sauces, teas and mulling spices, edible flower butters, brownie and cookie mixes, trail mixes and spice blends. They are sold in select retail outlets throughout Long Island and at the company’s flagship store in Peconic, New York.
