Dr. Nicole Rudolph was granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in French.

rudolphIt is with great pride that we announce that following the meeting of the Board of Trustees in 2015, and in accordance with the recommendations of the Faculty Committee on Retention, Tenure and Promotion (FCRTP), Dr. Nicole Rudolph was granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor in French. Following nearly three decades in which no Languages faculty member attained tenure, we are thrilled that we have had two in French in the past two academic years!

We are also extremely pleased to share that Dr. Rudolph’s deep scholarly inquiries into French history and her frequent collaboration with the History Program have led to an offer and acceptance of dual appointment in History.

Congratulations to Nicole for these richly deserved accomplishments! We are looking forward for her continued success and service to our department, where we can scarcely imagine life without the myriad contributions she makes every day. We wish her all the best as she embarks upon her dual appointment.
