You have seen that, for nine years in a row, The Fiske Guide to Colleges, compiled by former New York Times education reporter Ted Fiske, has designated Adelphi as one of two dozen institutions designated as a “Best Buy” in American private high education, thus underscoring our high academic standards and graduation rates, and our moderate tuition level. Our tuition is 25% less than neighboring campuses which have lower graduation rates. We can continue to receive such recognition as long as we can keep our tuition moderate. The bond rating agency Standard & Poor’s commended Adelphi for its strict cost controls, and the University community works diligently to make the best and most effective use of Adelphi’s fiscal and personnel resources. One of the few remaining ways we can keep tuition moderate is through increasing levels of endowment and expendable funds for student scholarships which will have a direct impact on a student’s ability to pay for an Adelphi experience.

Donor-funded scholarships provide tremendous benefit to the students they support, and they further secure the foundation of Adelphi’s fiscal strength and well-earned reputation for affordable excellence.
