The top-seeded team is vying for an eighth national championship.
The top-seeded Panther’s women’s lacrosse team is back in contention for the NCAA Division II national championship. In a fast-paced DII quarterfinals match played on Adelphi’s Motamed Field on Saturday, May 14, the Panthers won against Dowling College 15-3. The team will play in a semifinal match against LeMoyne College on Thursday, May 19, at the DII National Championships Festival hosted by Metro State University-Denver.
Since 2004, the Panthers have won seven Division II championships, including back-to-back crowns in 2014 and 2015.
