Dan Cronin ’08 is an associate at ICF International in Washington, D.C., where he is part of a team that supports the EPA ENERGY STAR program. He is working on the development of new Energy Star Climate Controls specifications, and is in frequent contact with the laboratories that test each product before approving it for public use.

Anita Thompkins, M.B.A. ’11, is the chief of the drinking water and municipal infrastructure branch for New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She is responsible for a staff of 22 that ensure that drinking water plants comply with environmental laws, and oversees $500 million in annual loans and grants to agencies that build and repair water infrastructure.

As the associate director for research of NASA’s Earth Science Division, Jack Kaye ’76 runs NASA’s environmental research program, which uses satellite data to understand the Earth and predict future natural and human-induced changes.
