Dr. Cox, a former vice president of Bermuda, was inducted into the Adelphi University Alumni Association Academy of Distinction last June.
Norma Cox Astwood Ph.D. ’75, is a former Bermuda Senate vice president. As a member of several of Bermuda’s delegations at Commonwealth Parliamentary Conferences, she started a women’s caucus which has evolved into the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians Group (CWP)–a group that continues to thrive today.
